The Worth of Souls

Awhile ago I started picking up pennies every time I saw one. As the stack has grown over time, it has led me to ponder on how every penny has a different journey and are worn down in different ways and yet they are all inherently the same value. As I have pondered on this it made me think of us in God's eyes. We all look different, we all have different journeys in life, and yet in God's eyes we are all his children and he wants us to return to him. One of my favorite scriptures says, "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God." I know that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father with a divine destiny. So next time you see a penny just remember that God loves you—after all every penny says, "In God we trust."
