On Tuesday, we went and volunteered at the food pantry. After that we had a lesson with an inactive member. It was a super sweet lesson where we talked about the baptismal covenant. She is also hoping to make it back to church soon, so that is super exciting! After her lesson we gave Alfrogo (our car) a bath. He looks really good now. After that we had dinner with the Buttiglieris. After dinner we had our weekly STL call and called it a night.
On Wednesday, we had Zone Conference. At zone conference, we talked about the importance of building relationships with the wards we serve in and Leaning into the uncomfortable. One of my favorite quotes was, "Don't get to the wooden Dinosaur puzzle pieces." President McGinn's way of saying do not get distracted on your phone and just start clicking. Sadly, we lost the go to scripture competition, but there is always next time to redeem ourselves. After Zone Conference, we went straight to a lesson with our friend Amanda. She is actually so amazing. She was telling us about the importance of priesthood during the lesson. After her lesson we had dinner with the Brunettes. We then had craft club, but no one came so instead we contacted some people and then crashed the young women activity. We got to know MaKenzie (a non-member who is friends with one of the youth and so has been coming to church and activities for about 2 months). When we got to the apartment for the night Alfrogo had exactly 20000 miles on him (small thing that brought me joy).
On Thursday we had our second epic bike day. We went to play Uno and then visited some people. Some things took less time than we thought they would, so we ended up going door knocking too. After door knocking we rode our bikes back to the apartment, but decided to try a way with less traffic. Sadly, the back roads were on super steep hills, so we decided to walk up one instead of ride (we were both losing our balance in our attempt to ride up the hill). After that we had dinner with the Swarens and did weekly planning.
On Friday we had a video lesson with our friend Luke. He finally opened up about some of his concerns and it was nice to know what he was thinking. After that we had a video lesson with our friend Emily, the STLs joined the call because Emily technically lives in their area now, but we are working on passing her off. It was a sweet lesson because she has such a desire to do the right thing, but has some really hard things going on right now (she could definitely use some prayers). After her lesson we did some service for the older lady in our area. I cleaned out her fridge and am not sure I ever want a hamburger again. I cleaned 6 different things of expired milk out of the fridge. The oldest one expired May 10!! After that we had a lesson with our friend Raymond. We went door knocking and met a sweet lady who told us to come back because she was busy, but also said she had a really good experience with missionaries in the past when she lived in a different state. We then visited some inactive members. One set talked to us for an hour and the other had family over. Right when we got out of the car one of her 4 year old Grandchildren came running over and gave me a hug. I was then her best friend for the rest of our visit! The best part was that I had never met this child before in my life.

On Saturday all our lessons fell through and it took us an hour to plan the day - only for the day to go nothing like we planned. Our zone was having send it Saturday, so we went running in the morning too. We had to go get our tires replaced on the car and we planned that it would take an hour, but it ended up being closer to an hour and a half. While we were there Sister McKeon and I had a conversation about if the workers were driving under my record because the videos about Tiwi always say to log out, but neither one of us had ever seen anyone log out. We decided to try it afterwards, so after Tiwi telling me 8 times in a row that I was logged in we decided that logging out was not a real thing. We then went street contacting and met a girl named Rosa. She told us it was no coincidence that she ran into us because her family was looking for a church. After that we went door knocking and a man opened the door and goes, "I saw you at the tire place." We think it softened him up to us and we got his number to set up a time to come back. That evening we went door knocking at an apartment complex and we are pretty sure someone was on something. We could hear Them pacing and muttering through the door, but when we knocking we heard them run into the door, but they never opened it. It was super funny. We also met an older lady there who started by telling us she was not interested. She then talked to us for 45 minutes and told us we were welcome back any time.
Sunday was a super good day. On the way to church we were laughing about Tiwi. We were talking about how we thought some of the things she said were not real until the first time we heard them. I said, "Yeah, I though it was not real, just like driver logged out." I then put my card up to log in and Tiwi had the audacity to say, "Driver logged out." We thought it was the funniest thing. We decided to log out every time now because it was so funny! Rosa came to church and brought her little sister with her! MaKenzie was also at church and found us after. She told us that she wants to get baptized, but her Mom said she has to come for 6 months first! We are super excited because we are probably going to start teaching her (She has to get her mom's permission first). After church we were supposed to have a lesson, but had a realization that we did not have a women to go with us. We frantically tried to find one and then decided we would have to go in person to reschedule (he was not answering the phone). He never even showed up! After that we went street contacting and had a lesson with our friend Wanda. She is super amazing and just wants to learn. After her lesson we attempted to visit some people and then had dinner with the Harveys. They are so funny! After dinner we finally got a personal study for the day.
It has been a super eventful week and I feel like the transfer is flying by. I am still not sure where the time is going!
